Yesterday's launch demo of SpaceX Falcon 9 booster coupled with the Dragon Crew module was scrapped due to poor weather. This vehicle was SpaceX's first attempt to send a live screw into orbit and return them safely. While this sort of maneuver is nothing new; the entire spacecraft, including the boosters are autonomous with the capability to land back on earth at a designated area. Not to mention it is the first private spacecraft to attempt to take passengers to space. You can catch the next launch attempt on May 30 at 3:22 pm ET (USA). SpaceX a private company headed by Elon Musk has far reaching dreams of reaching the moon and even Mars at lower costs than a bureaucratic organization like NASA would incur. I will put my money behind SpaceX's enthusiasm. After all the earth is too small to satiate human ambition and profit.
